Leonard “Tee” Neal Pennington Sr., age 92, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Pennington proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a World War II veteran.

His visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Speaking at the service will be Don Mcguyer. Burial will be at Lime Rock Cemetery

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lawanza Aycock; parents, Fred & Eula Mae Pennington; son, Leonard Neal Pennington Jr.; siblings, William H Pennington, Robert L Pennington, & Bobbi Ann Gilbert.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Sharon Fuller of Tuscumbia, Doris Howell of Tennessee, Margie Wade of Russellville, Phyllis Burns of Decatur, Jeff Pennington (wife, Lisha) of Littleville; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Pennington; sisters, Freida Searcy, Denise Pennington

The pallbearers will be the grandsons. The honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Wade, who is currently serving our country overseas and Robert Wade, who is in basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Burns Nursing Home and Rehab; Dr. Rose, Dr. Patel, Dr. Little; and the staff of Kindred Hospice for your loving care of our family.
