Wanda Faye Hunt Jones was born Nov. 13, 1959, in Baltimore, MD. She gained her heavenly wings and went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 24, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Hunt and Mable Brewer; her step-father Slim Brewer; one daughter Satasha Jones; one brother Mac Hunt; mother-in-law Willie M. Jones; one granddaughter Summer Alexis N Jones.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of St. Andrew P.B. Church.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories a loving and devoted husband of 41 years Willie Roscoe (Scully) Jones, Jr; two daughters Erin Jones Quivedo (Nick) of Huntsville, AL and Serena Jones Rogers (Larry) of Harvest, AL; four brothers Hector Richardson (Cindy) of Lumberbridge, NC, Kenny Hunt of Lumberton, NC, Kirby Hunt (Tammy) of Little River, SC, Smoky Hunt of NC; five grandsons Damien Jones of he home, Isiah Rogers and Peerless Rogers of Harvest, AL, Larry Cordell Rogers, Jr. of Knoxville, TN, and Ronald Ray Locklear of Huntsville, AL; two granddaughters Lesiah and Kesiah Rogers of Harvest, AL; three sisters-in-law Georgia Jones Seals (Wilson), Sylvia Blanks (Tommy), and Josephine Tyler; four brothers-in-law Tony Jones (Fay), Sam Barton (Ruth), Paul Jones (Betty), Leelan Sanderson (Annie) all of N.C; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a Memorial Service at St. Andrew P.B. Church, 1393 Swancott Road, Madison, AL, at 2:00 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 28, 2017. Mrs. Jones will lie in state two hours prior to the service.
