Marie Brown Hester age 90 of Dora, passed away Saturday October 7, 2017. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Dora. She as a retired LPN.
Funeral services will be Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Hester; parents, Roy and Ozella Brown and her brother, Homer Brown.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Hester (Stephanie) of Trussville and Carol Ware (Carl) of Jasper; grandchildren, Mitchell Hester, Hannah Hester, Tammy Fine (Joey) and Malea Norris; great grandchildren, Braden and Carter Fine and Gracen and Barrett Norris; sister, Betty Earley; many other relatives and a host of friends.
