Earl Davis age 95 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, October3, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Davis was born August 24, 1922 in Limestone County, AL to Carlos Davis and Lilly Craig Davis.
Services will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Morris Fanning officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was a member of Market Street Church of Christ. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the United States Navy.
Survived by three sons, Billy Earl Davis and wife, Carol, Kenneth Harold Davis and wife, Mary Elizabeth and Jeff Davis and wife, Elizabeth; one daughter, Linda Meeker and husband, Hal; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
