Kentucky Watercolor Artist and Online Watercolor Instructor, Judy Mudd gives workshop at Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts

FLORENCE-October 13-15 Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts welcomes acclaimed, Kentucky watercolor artist and instructor Judy Mudd to the art center. Atmospheric Landscapes in Watercolor Workshop is three days of hands on instruction in watercolor with one of the best in the South.
Judy is a full-time artist and instructor teaching weekly classes and traveling to teach workshops. Judy is a signature member of the Southern Watercolor society, the Kentucky Watercolor Society, juried member of the Kentucky Arts Council and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.  Her painting have been featured in the American Watercolor Society’s Annual Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club in New York.  Membership associations include AWS, as well as the Portrait Society of America, the National Watercolor Society, Plein Air Painters and other professional groups. This workshop entails three full days of painting various rural and urban scenes in watercolor. Starting with a photographed subject, students will pick and choose, deciding what to leave in and what take out of their landscape, and then arrange it to make their artistic vision happen!  There will be an emphasis on various technique effects, brushstrokes for interest, making corrections, general composition and art content.  Come learn how to be more creative and expressive through atmospheric landscapes. Fee is $325 for all three days.
