Wreathel May Davis, 77, died Monday, September 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Tishomingo, Ms. and had worked at Golden Manufacturing, Golden, Ms. She was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, Ms.
Services will be Wednesday, September 27, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Ms. with Bro. Glenn Bridgmon officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Golden, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are her son – Mark Irvin (Wilma) Florence, Al.; six grandchildren – Rebecca Duke, Justin Irvin, Hannah Irvin, Emily Irvin, Chris Pease and Pamela Irvin; seven great-grandchildren – Bryson, Jeremy, Conner, Justin Ray, Atticus, Emily and Dakota; one brother – Bob Hammett; one sister – Faye Wells and two step-daughters – Carol Wanner (Donnie Mac) and Tina Clifton (Greg).
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Claxton Irvin and Johnny Davis and her parents, Alton Hammett and Audrey Mae Partain Hammett.
Pallbearers will be Jack Ivy, Justin Duke, Johnny Roberts, Donnie Mac Wanner, Rudy Collier and Donnie Joe Sparks.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 26, 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms.
