HUNTSVILLE-Alabama A&M University’s Dean’s Speaker Series will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 12:30 pm in the Arthur J. Bond Hall, Room 233 at Alabama A&M University.

The September Keynote Speaker will be Margot Sandy who is an Amazon Bestselling Author (If You Build It, LIFE Will Come), Margot Sandy is currently traveling the world while running an entrepreneurial enterprise, In The Now, LLC, with a focus on engineering consulting (www.margotsandy.com), mentoring students with the next steps in their careers (www.whatdoidoaftercollege.com) and public speaking. In her travels, she has also developed business workshops for Refugees and Migrants in Malta, started a weekly program called Africa

Entrepreneur Talks (AET) with a group of young entrepreneurs in Nigeria and is currently on the International Federation of Inventor’s Association Women’s Network Board where she reviews and guides university students in their product creations.

Over the years, she has engaged in a range of engineering opportunities that span from traditional engineering in Rochester, NY to working at a Medical Device company in Sydney, Australia. The variety of experiences in addition to her diverse educational background at Rochester Institute of Technology (’12 MS Product Development Engineering and ’08 BS Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Technology) has allowed Margot to excel in Product Development and fueled her passion for learning, product creation and helping others achieve their product dreams. Margot’s latest adventure involves her patent pending bracelet that was designed, developed and will be manufactured in the USA to help schools in the USA (www.828movement.com).
