FLORENCE-On Thursday, September 13 the Florence Police Department had a couple of the felony arrest. Both were from warrants.  They also had one arrest due to a pursuit:

Branson L Williams

“The Florence Police Department had a vehicle pursuit last night(September 13) that ended in the arrest of Brandon Williams, W/M 20yoa, Muscle Shoals, Al. Mr Brandon refused to stop for Florence PD at Tune Ave and Florence Blvd. Mr Brandon then went north on Tune Ave and on to Hermitage Dr. Mr Brandon then jumped the curb going into Woodmount Baptist Church. He cut through the parking lot and on to Darby Dr where officers lost sight of him. They then returned to the area and found him in the parking lot of Fountain Blue Apartments. He is still in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $2,000.00 bond.

 

James J Manset

James Manset was arrest on warrants that were issued for Theft 2nd and Fraudulent use of a Credit/Debit Card. This case started with the victim reporting a theft to Muscle Shoals PD and at that time it was discovered that the cards and checks were used in the City of Florence. Several charges were made at various locations in Florence and some of checks that were stolen was written to Mr Manset. James J Manset, W/M 30yoa, Florence, Al., is currently in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on the charges of Theft of Property 2nd and Illegal Possession or Use of a Credit/Debit Card on a $3,000.00 bond.

 

Jason R Pennington

Jason Pennington was arrest on warrants that were issued for Theft 4th and Fraudulent use of a Credit/Debit Card. Several charges were made at various locations in Florence. Jason R Pennington, W/M 37yoa, Waterloo, Al., is currently in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on the charges of Theft of Property 4th and Illegal Possession or Use of a Credit/Debit Card, 16 counts, on a $17,000.00 bond.”
