Earl Henry Noe, 90, of Huntsville, passed away on August 22, 2017. Earl moved to Huntsville in 1966 from Knoxville. He met Virginia Brown at First Baptist Church, and they married June 6, 1970. He bought Zesto Drive-In in Five Points in 1974 and operated it until 1991. Earl Noe was generous, caring, and believed in hard work, which he demonstrated though his actions until his last days.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Noe; brother, Grant Noe, Kingston, TN; daughters, Cynthia Thoen and Amelia Mathison (Jim); son, David Noe (Mary Walter-Noe), Winter Park, FL; and grandsons, Justin Mathison and Jay Mathison.
A private family graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 to 1:45 Saturday at First Baptist Church in the foyer outside the Community room by Entrance 7 (north side).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Red Cross, or charity of your choice.
