Funeral service for Linda Lou Holmes, 70, will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with David Holmes officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 25, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holmes died on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 27, 1946, in Morgan County to Ira “Tom” E. Penwell and Virgie Elizabeth Brown Penwell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved visiting Ohio, going on cruises, her flowers and her hummingbirds. She was a Health Care worker for Summerford Nursing Home prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, three sisters, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.
