Mrs. Glenda Neal went to be with the Lord peacefully at her home after a short illness with pancreatic cancer on August 21, 2017 surrounded by her family. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Vernon Manley Sisk and Rachel Lasater Sisk. Glenda loved the Lord, loved singing southern gospel music and played the piano at various Southern Baptist Churches throughout Madison County since she was eight years old. She married the love of her life, Kennith Neal, in 1966 and celebrated 50 years of marriage in July 2016. Glenda is survived by her husband, Kennith Neal, her sons, Keith and Connie Neal, Chris and Kim Neal, granddaughter, Ariel Neal, grandson, Cody and Abbi Neal, step- grandaughters, Kourtney Lamb and Kaley Miller, step-great-granddaughter, Brynleigh Linville, sister, Wanda and Steve Cantrell and brother, Dwight and Debbie Sisk. She is also survived by her “adopted” daughter, Nancy Collier and family, three nephews, three nieces, and many other family members, cousins, and friends who will miss her. Special thanks to Liberty Baptist Church who has greatly supported the family during this time. The music for the service was played by David Sisk on Glenda’s piano. Arrangements will be announced later. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
