Harlee Suzanne Bass, age 19, of Lynn, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at her home. Harlee was the Salutatorian of the graduating class of 2016 at Lynn High School, the Debra of America 2016 Spirit Award Winner, and a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Bro. Glenn Bridgmon and Bro. Keith Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Ashbank Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Suzanne Bass Elkins; grandmother, Frankie Lawrence; grandparents, Marlon and Cindy Guthrie and Elbert and Lockcile Elkins; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eric Tyson Bass; step father, David Elkins; grandfathers, Hollis Lawrence and Alex T. Bass; grandmother, Faye Bass; great grandmothers, Irene Burrell Akers and Leona Guthrie.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Matthew Stephens, Michael Bass, Chris Tittle and Brad Heck.
