Funeral service for Fred E. Hembree, 89, will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM at West Hartselle Baptist Church with Bro. John Ingouf, Bro. Chris Martin and his son: Freddy Hembree officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Hembree died on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born September 21, 1927, in Lawrence County to James Henry Hembree and Thelma Veona Lindsey Hembree. He founded Hembree Machine, Inc. in 1970 and was the owner until February of 2016. He was a U.S. Army and U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded by his parents, four brothers: Jerry, Billy Joe, J.W. (Hobo) and Bobby Hembree, and two sisters: Hilda Reeder and Lola Hembree.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Hembree, Lance Hembree, Paul Wright, Jimmy Dobbins, Frank Campbell, and Solomon Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Sanford, Aubrey Anderson, John Skelton, Ron Hall, Charley Payatt, Charles Nolen, Jim Wright, Greg Boggs, Jon Anderson, Jeff Woodruff, Thomas Brooks, Scotty Maples and Brent Eaton.
