Graveside service for Roger Glyn Jones, age 64, of Decatur, will be Saturday, August 5, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Raper Cemetery with Chaplain John Tucker officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to service.
Mr. Jones, who died Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at his residence, was born July 3, 1953, in Morgan County, AL, to Gurly Fonso Jones and Maggie Ozell Raper Jones. He was a self-employed roofing and painting contractor.
He is survived by one brother, Cecil Jones of Decatur, and several nephews and nieces.
