Willie B. Day, age 81 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Brother Ed Frazier will officiate.
Mr. Day was preceded in death by his Father-Mintz Day; Mother-Edna Mae King Day; Daughter-Donna Day; Sons-Billy Day and Willie Day; Stepson-Richard Cornelius; Brothers-Donald Day, Charles Day, Vertis Day and Robert Day; Sisters-Mary Day, Hazel Fuller and Lou Hill; Great Grandson-Matthew Carr.
He is survived by his Wife-Judy Faye Day; Daughter-Teresa Day of Jasper; Sons-Ricky Day, Terry Wayne Day and Shawn Matthew Day all of Empire; Sisters-Sue Farr and Ann Day; 18 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
