TUPELO, MS – In celebration of the National Park Service’s 101st birthday on August 25, 2017, the Natchez Trace Parkway will host a month-long exhibit featuring artwork and pledges made by local Boys and Girls Club Members during a weeklong Every Kid in a Park Environmental Camp at the Parkway. The exhibit includes a five-minute film that captures the participant’s activities and reflections on their experience. After reading the children’s pledges, visitors are encouraged to add a pledge, in their own words, to the exhibit.
The exhibit, located in the auditorium of the Parkway Visitor Center, will run August 1 – August 31, 2017. The Parkway Visitor Center is located along the Natchez Trace Parkway at milepost 266, just north of Tupelo, Mississippi.
