Mal Rush 81, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017. He was born June 21, 1936, in Akron, Ohio, to Malcolm and Florence Rush.
Mr. Rush was a member of the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. He was a lieutenant for the United States Navy. Mr. Rush was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Rush.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Barbara; son, Doug Rush; grandchildren, Charlie and Colleen Rush; sister, Harriet Rush and brother, Herb Rush.
A celebration of life service will be Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
