Mark H. Cox, age 52, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 surrounded by his family and friends. The visitation will be Sunday, July 16th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Wayne Wood will be officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born on May 25, 1965 to Lloyd H. Cox and Gladys Mae Hill Cox who proceded him in death.
He is survived by two brothers, Jerry O’Neal Cox of Adamsville, Tennessee and Michael Jordan Cox of Florence, Alabama; one niece, Misty Cox Garland and husband Brandon of Adamsville, Tennessee, one nephew, Jerry D. Cox and wife Britaney of Crump, Tennessee, five great nephews and two great nieces and many cousins and friends. Mark enjoyed motor cycle riding, riding four wheelers, fishing, Alabama football, car races and spending time with family and friends.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Jody Snodgrass.
