Jimmy Aldridge, age 79 of Jasper, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Aldridge served 38 years as missionary and Overseas Secretary for FWB International Missions. He was much loved and esteemed by our FWB church family in the U.S. and around the world; Atta Kouakou, Africa; Nikolay Sobolev, Russia and Gerard Tynevez, France.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2107 at 12:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. Danny Williams and Rev. Jerry White will officiate.
Mr. Aldridge was preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Aldridge; father, Wilburn Aldridge; brother, Harold Aldridge; sister, Mary Ellen Poole.
He is survived by his wife, Janie M. Aldridge of Jasper; brothers, Billy Ray Aldridge and Leon Aldridge; nieces and nephew.
Pallbearers will be Jerrell “Red” Davis, Doug Tidwell, Rev. Jess West, Rev. Chriss Pschirer, Richard Griffin and Andrew White.
