Douglas Lee McMillen, 75, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born April 10, 1942, in Itawamba County to Isom Edward and Geneva Duncan McMillen. He worked as a custodian for Itawamba County Schools and loved to ride the roads.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.
Survivors include three brothers, Walter McMillen and Melvin McMillen, both of Fulton, and Johnny McMillen (Cecilia) of Fulton; one sister, Minnie Warren (Elton) of Fulton; a special sister-in-law and caregiver, Mary Jo Evans of Fairview; a niece and a host of nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert McMillen and Earnie McMillen; and four sisters, Mary Jane Buchanan, Sarah Warren, Mattie McMillen, and Clara McMillen.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Warren, Walker Warren, Doug Buchanan, Ed Buchanan, Hollis Buchanan, and Craig McMillen. Honorary pallbearers will be Wallace Buchanan and Gene Buchanan.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
