Robert L. “Bob” Abernathy of Frankewing passed away on July 4, 2017. He was born in Pulaski on September 20, 1936 and was 80 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired from Consolidated Packaging and was a farmer.
Visitation was from 11:00 until 1:00 Thursday, July 6th at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service followed at 1:00 in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Mickey Buford officiating.
Burial took place in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial Donations suggested to Bradshaw Baptist Church, 2187 Center Point Road, Pulaski, Tn. 38478.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Rena Kimbrough Abernathy, brothers, Dean Abernathy and Wendall Abernathy.
He is survived by his, wife, Frances Abernathy of Pulaski
daughter, Donna Abernathy Griggs of Pulaski
son, Darrell (Darlene) Abernathy of Pulaski
daughter, Carla (Lane) Maxwell of Pulaski
sister, Faye (Robert) Reed of Hohnwald, Tn.
sister, Kaye (Doug) McIntosh of Pulaski
8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends also survive.
