Kathy Jo Nave Goolsby, 62 of Athens, Alabama died on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Sunday, July 4, 1954 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Marion Nave and the late Frances Elenor Legg Nave. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to eat, shop, and socialize with her family. She
especially loved her family and children and loved to talk. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Price Nave, and a sister, Gayle Hill.
Surviving are her husband: Earl Wayne Goolsby, of Athens, AL, daughters, Nea Wynn Goolsby Sapp and husband George of Athens, AL and Shannon Lee Goolsby Kitchens and husband Michael of Trinity, AL, sisters, Joyce Swanner of Athens, AL, Janice (George) Lindsay of Athens, AL and Charlotte LeMay of Huntsville, AL, grandson, Ian
Christopher Sapp and a granddaughter, Megan Elise Kitchens.
A Celebration of life service will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
