Gwendolyn Denise Simmons, 58, died Friday, June 24, 2017. Public viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Leighton, with burial in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
