Virginia Patterson, age 94, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 in Jackson, TN. She was born in Memphis on August 17, 1922, one of twelve children. She was a member of Egypt Baptist Church and retired from Kimberly Clark as an inspector after thirty years of service. Following her retirement, she and her husband “Pat” Patterson, enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. Mrs. Virginia was very creative, stayed busy with arts and crafts and did intricate needlework. She left Memphis approximately twelve years ago, moving to be with her daughter, enjoying the country living in Henderson County.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Freddy) Johnson of Scotts Hill; a grandson, Alex (Joyce) Johnson and a great grandson, Adam Johnson both of Lexington.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday, June 12 at Lexington Cemetery with Pafford Funeral Home in charge.
