Billy Wayne Brewer, 77, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at his home. He was born May 27, 1940, in the Turon community of Itawamba County to the late E.V. and Annie Mae Wright Brewer. He was an employee of Tremont Floral Supplies and was a member of Tremont First Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard and was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, traveling, grilling, yardwork, and spending time outdoors. He really enjoyed celebrating Christmas by displaying his lights and cooking a huge family breakfast. He loved spending time with his grandkids and family.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, at Tremont First Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Moore officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in entrusted with arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Brewer; two sons, Joey Brewer and Nicky Brewer (Charlene), both of Red Bay, Ala.; three daughters, Vicky Andrade (Eddie) of Bakersfield, Calif., and Windy Abbott (Doug) and Lindy Carithers (Julian), both of Tremont; six grandkids, Alex (Robert), Ally, Noah, Ayden, MaeKaylee, and Edna Kate; two great-grandkids, Eisley and Salem; three sisters, Dot Richardson (Jerry) of Southaven and Debbie Johnson (Bobby) and Melissa Lease, both of Fulton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Wayne Brewer; his brother, Jimmy Dale Brewer; a grandson, Andrew Andrade; and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Ehler, Phillip Fowler, Tony Crouch, Terry Lundy, Ron Cook, and Dale Kennedy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Canup and the salesmen at Tremont Floral Supplies.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until service time Friday at Tremont First Baptist Church.
