William Edgar Blankenship 74 of Florence, AL will have an 11:00 a.m. graveside service on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery.
Bill was a lifelong resident of the Shoals. He was the owner of Bill’s Shoes and Boots, in downtown Florence, for thirty-eight years. He was a graduate of the University of North Alabama and a member of Christ’s Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sara Blankenship. He is survived by his son Mike, daughters Belle and Nelle, and eight grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill’s grandsons.
