FLORENCE – The recent rains have created delays in scheduled maintenance activities at Wilson Dam and the roadway across the top of the dam. For the safety of motorists and workers, the current road closure is being extended until Tuesday, June 13.
Gates and barricades will remain in place on South Cox Creek Parkway and Reservation Road across the dam. The preferred alternate route remains Highway 157, located just west of the dam.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this necessary work to ensure the continued safe operation of the Wilson Dam and the roadway over the dam.
