Kenneth Ray Morgan was born on April 27, 1947, the son of the late James Cecil and Dorothy Dale Smith Morgan. On June 14, 2001, he married Barbara June Franks, who survives. Kenneth departed this life on May 29, 2017, at the age of 70 years, 1 month, and 2 days.
Kenneth served in the United States Army. He worked at Morgan’s Body Shop for over 50 years. Kenneth attended First Assembly of God in Savannah, Tennessee, and was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Woodmen of the World, also in Savannah, Tennessee. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and body shop work. As an artist, he liked woodworking and could build anything out of wood.
Along with his wife, Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Mardi Morgan of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Corbet Morgan and Killian Morgan, both of Savannah, Tennessee; stepdaughters, Chasity McWhirter of Memphis, Tennessee, Jaime Reaves of Selmer, Tennessee, and Kala Traylor of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sisters, Glenda Murphy of Illinois and Janis Majors of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother, Rudy Morgan and wife Deborah of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Matthew Morgan, Anna Morgan, Dylan Crabb, Drake Crabb, Jemma Reaves, Anna Frances McWherter, Cecilia McWhirter, and Maggie, Tressa, and Emma Traylor.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Morgan.
