Haran Hugh Golden, 90, of Rogersville, died Sunday May 21st, 2017 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
He was veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Rogersville where he was a Deacon for over 52 years, a member of the Optimist Club, an ironworker, farmer, and a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 25th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, May 26th at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Brandon Rainey and Bertis Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Golden was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Jennie Mae Golden; wife of nearly 67 years, Inez Golden and 8 siblings. He is survived by his sons, Larry (Glenda) Golden and Bobby (Kim) Golden; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; brother, Seldon B. Golden and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
