Danny Charles Vinson, 60, of Tuscumbia went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00pm Tuesday, May 23, 2017. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, AL. The burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Street will officiate.
Danny was a native of Tuscumbia, AL. He was an ironworker with Rawhide Erection Co. for over 40 years and was a member of Experience Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Jewel Darleen Vinson, mother Mary Etta Ayers Vinson, and brother Johnny Wade Vinson.
Survivors are his father Emitt Charles Vinson; sons: Dewayne Vinson, Joseph Vinson, David Vinson, Stephen Vinson, and Michael Vinson; daughter: Julie Phillips, and eleven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Vinson, Michael Vinson, Ricky Stone, Jonathon Thorn, Devin Phillips, and Bubba Vinson.
He was a wonderful, loving father and husband. He will be greatly missed and always loved.
