Geneva Fannie Flippo, age 103 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Church in Carbon Hill. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with burial at Coalbed Cemetery. Billy Feltman will officiate.
Mrs. Flippo was preceded in death by her Parents-Sam and Maude Bryant; Husband-Woodrow Flippo; Sisters-Went Colburn and Maxine Sides; Brother-Buford Bryant; Daughter-Mary Barnes; Grandsons-Ray Jordan and Donald Amerson.
She is survived by her Daughters-Betty Abbott, Marie Jordan, Helen Walker (Mike), JoAnn Strittar (Bob), Peggy Flippo, Martha Amerson, Sheila Woods (Gordon); Sons-Billy Flippo, Roy Flippo (Barbara) and Truman Flippo (Helen); 22 Grandchildren; 29 Great Grandchildren; 14 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
