George Lynn “Jody” Anderson went home to be with the Lord, May 10, 2017.
Jody was born on October 16, 1958, he was a 1978 graduate of Bradshaw High School, where he played football and ran track.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Charles Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Douglas Anderson “Bob” and brothers, Robert Douglas Anderson, Jr. (Bobby) and Gerald Wayne “Jerry’ Anderson.
Jody is survived by his wife of 30 years, Teresa Lemmons Anderson; son, Robert Curtis “Curt” Anderson (Megan); daughter, Tina Whitworth Aday (Pat) ; grandchildren, Curtlynn Reese Anderson and unborn, Casen James Anderson, Damien Micheal, P.J., John Thomas, and Tiffany Aday ; mother, Juanita Stalions Anderson; sister, Linda Sue White (Edwin); sisters-in-law, Sue Olive Anderson, Bonnie Manley (Phillip), Fran Delap (Jackie), Louise Cothern and Brenda Massey; brothers-in-law, Johnny Lemmons (Melissa) and Glen Lemmons (Debbie)
Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Richardson Jr., Keith Graham, Phil Lyons, Russell “Rusty” Carbine, Brad James and Anthony Ledgewood.
Edwin, Bill, Jeff, Chris and Blair White, Patrick Anderson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
