Funeral service for Harold B. Morris, 93, will be Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Lebanon Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Ashley and Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Morris died on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church for 70 years, where he served as a deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II in the Pacific and was retired from Wolverine Tube of Decatur.
He was born November 3, 1923, in Danville to Arthur Eugene and Trannie Sandlin Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Betty Jean Steele and was the widower of Wilda Crow Morris.
