Lillian (Ruby) Smith, age 79, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. Visitation was Friday, April 28, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Services will be today at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Brother Hershel Quinn will be officiating the service. She was a member of Blythe Memorial Methodist Church.
Ruby was preceded in death by parents, W.H. Johnson and Beatrice Johnson; son, Phillip Smith; and daughter, Beverly Smith.
She is survived by son, Terry Smith, of Leighton, Alabama; daughter, Jana Pennington (Roger), of Leighton, Alabama; brothers, Wendell, Travis and Kenneth and Frank Johnson; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Davenport, Brandon Davenport, Jordan Smith, Tyson Johnson, Grant Johnson, and Scott Oliver.
