Funeral services for Mr. Mac Steve Sims, age 73, of Priceville, who died Thursday, April 27, 2017, at his residence will be, Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Shelton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the chapel with Rev. Royce Teague and Rev. Charles Sparks officiating. Interment will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Sims was born, May 14, 1943 in Alabama to Otto Taylor and Izena Sims.
Mr. Sims is survived by his wife Janette Davis Sims; two sons Steven Sims (Tracy) of Athens and Will Sims (Emily) of Nashville, TN; one daughter Mitzi Oaks (Brent) of Moulton; five grandchildren Grace Oaks, Lilly Oaks, J.D. Oaks, Ridge Sims and Grayson Sims; one brother Gary Sims of Guntersville; three sisters Dellie Cornelius of Albertville, Junior Lee Sims and Daisy Kelly both of Guntersville.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
