Kenneth Dean – Obituary

Kenneth Dean of Adamsville, TN was born April 14, 1930 in Lexington, AL the son of the late Eardice Dean and Vernon Barnett Dean. After Kenneth’s mother died at a young age, he was raised by his dad and his second mother, Jewel Elizabeth Dean.

Mr. Dean was retired from Quaker Oats in Rockford, IL. He was a member of Solitude Free Will Baptist Church and the Adamsville Senior Citizens Center. He enjoyed working in his yard and was an impeccable housekeeper. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. Kenneth departed this life on April 25, 2017 at his home at the age of 87 Years, 11 Days.

He is survived by a daughter, Anita Racke of Las Vegas, NV; a son, Terry Dean and wife Sherry of Oklahoma; a sister, Helen Tacker Scott of Adamsville, TN; 4 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Nieces; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dean was preceded in death by a son, Marty Dean and a brother, Wayne Dean.

Memorials may be made to Solitude Free Will Baptist Church.
