Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah ” Hazel” Johnson, age 80, of Decatur, who died Thursday, April 20, 2017, at her residence will be Monday, April 24, 2017 , 2:00 pm at First Bible Church. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, with Rev. Paul Cheshier officiating. Interment will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was born June 1, 1936 in Shelbyville, TN to Elbert Brasseale and Lily Mae Wilhoite Brasseale.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband Bobby Johnson of 61 years; two sons Bob Johnson (Mary) of Tuscaloosa and Prentice Johnson (Leah) of Atlanta; one daughter Bonnie Darwin (Gary) of Decatur; two grandsons Will Megee (Carrie) of Madison and Davis Darwin of Tuscaloosa; four granddaughters Bittany Johnson and Mackenzie Johnson both of Tuscaloosa, Caitlin Johnson and Lauren Johnson both of Atlanta; one sister Ruby Zahnd of Macon, GA.
Pallbearers will be family.
