FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a statement regarding the arrest of two suspects over the weekend in the theft of two vehicles:
“Jason D. Foster and Jeffery P. Gallagher were arrested over the weekend after being stopped in a stolen SUV.
The duo were charged following an investigation into a stolen SUV and stolen motorcycle from the area of Darby Drive. The vehicles were originally reported stolen early last week.

Officers responded and the motorcycle and SUV were
bolo’d to the surrounding areas. The following day officers located the stolen motorcycle near the scene of the crime.
On Saturday night Officer Eddie Grissom was patrolling when he noticed the stolen SUV traveling along Houston St in North Florence. Officer Grissom conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and both Foster and Gallagher were arrested without incident.
Both vehicles have been returned to their owner.”
