Funeral service for Thomas Marshall, 77, will be Monday, April 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Johnson Chapel UMC with Rev. Tom Salter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mr. Marshall died on Friday, March 31, 2017. He was born April 15, 1939, in Charlotte County, Virginia, to John Spragins Marshall and Julia Lyle Marshall, who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. He was employed as a Civil Engineer for TVA prior to his retirement. He was also preceded in death by a brother: John Spragins Marshall, Jr.
