Kathy Gail Torres – Obituary

Kathy Gail Torres was born in Hayti, Missouri on April 13, 1958 the daughter of Carrie B. Smith Doyle and the late W. B. Doyle.

In 1982, she was united in marriage to Gene Torres, Jr., who survives.

Kathy was a homemaker and enjoyed working in flowers and gardening.

She departed this life on March 29, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 16 days.

In addition to her husband, Gene, of Adamsville, Tennessee, she is survived by two sons, James Scott of Adamsville, Tennessee and Tony Scott of Savannah, Tennessee.

eight grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Quinton Scott, Chloe Scott, Stephine Scott, Jeremy Scott, Dylan Scott, Hunter Scott and Vanessa Scott

two great grandchildren, Zander Scott and Eason Brantley

her mother, Carrie B. Smith Doyle of Savannah, Tennessee

five sisters, Patsy Myers of Alaska, Annette Finley of Stantonville, Tennessee, Sherry Hopper and Brenda Parrott, both of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Terrie Parrott of Parsons, Tennessee

three brothers, Jackie Doyle and Elvis Doyle, both of Savannah, Tennessee and Lloyd Doyle of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eldon Doyle and John Wesley Doyle and one sister, Maggie Lou Lee.
