DOUBLE SPRINGS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-car crash on Tuesday, March 28. Two died in this accident:
“A two-vehicle crash today, March 28, has claimed two lives. Billy Ray Massey, 72, and Carolyn Walker Massey, 69, of Double Springs were killed when the 2006 Buick Lacrosse they were in collided with a 1996 Freightliner driven by James Gregory Garrett, 42, of Monroeville.
Billy Massey, the Buick’s driver and Carolyn Massey, the passenger, were both pronounced dead at the scene. Garrett was transported to DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
The crash occurred at 11:48 a.m. on Alabama 13 near the 229 mile marker, three miles north of Berry.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
