Rufus Delano Tubbs, age 76, of Oakman, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Tubbs Church of Christ, he will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mike King will officiate.
Mr. Tubbs was preceded in death by his Wife-Libby Tubbs.
He is survived by his Son-Troy Allen Tubbs (Diane); Sisters-Reba McGraw (David) and Carolyn Flat; Brothers-John Tubbs and Mike Tubbs; Nephew-John Tubbs, Jr.; Granddaughter-Jennifer Ashley Tubbs; Family Friend-Lynn Medeiros
