Charles Freeman, 72, of Jasper, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, at his residence.
Visitation will be held today, March 26, 2017, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 27, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, followed by burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Fall City Road in Jasper. J.D. Dickerson will officiate.
Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his father, Grady Freeman; mother, Earnestine Williams Freeman; son, Adam Freeman; sister-Lillie Mae Whisenhunt; brothers-Clifford Freeman, Stanley Freeman, Willard Freeman, Roy Lee Freeman, Bobby Freeman and J.L. Freeman and grandson, Carson Bailey Bean.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Melissa Williams Freeman of Jasper; daughter, Amanda Tidwell (J.T.); son, Anthony Freeman (Donna); sisters, Judy Noles, Minnie Rivers and Ovaline Whisenhunt; brothers, Ray Freeman, Billy Freeman and Roger Freeman; and grandchildren, Landon Freeman, Zachery Freeman, Isaiah Freeman, Abbie Bean, Allie Tidwell and Alexis Tidwell.
