Janet White Brockman, 72, passed away Saturday at her home in Huntsville surrounded by her family. She was preceded by her mother and father, Buel and Francis Case, and her previous husband, JD White. Janet taught in Nashville and Chattanooga before returning home to Huntsville. She taught at many Huntsville Schools before retiring from Monte Sano Elementary. After spending 36 years as an educator, Janet spent her retirement with her high school sweetheart Len, who she married in 2002. Len and Janet played with grandchildren, did mission work in Mexico, Honduras, and Panama.
She is survived by her loving husband, Len Brockman; her three sons, Jeff, John and Jason White, their families, and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Friday, March 24 at her church, Mayfair Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Garden room with Joe Essner officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at 2 pm.

Janet was an incredible teacher, wonderful mother, and a loving wife. She will be missed by all who knew her.
