Larry D Kimbrell, age 68, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017, at his residence. He was a native of Buckhannon, WV, retired from CCA Prison, a member of the VFW Post 1618 and Loretto Masonic Lodge No. 655. Mr. Kimbrell served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era in the 25th Infantry Division. He was awarded a Silver Star and two Purple Hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. and Zula A. Tolbert Kimbrell; one brother, Geary W. Kimbrell; and one grandson, Ethan Patrick William Kimbrell.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2017 with a Masonic service to follow. Interment will follow at Blair Cemetery in Lawrence County, Tennessee with full military honors.
