Sylvia Gay DeFoor, age 86, of Jasper, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Bennett Cemetery. Don Graham will officiate.
Mrs. DeFoor was preceded in death by her Father-D.H. Gay; Mother-Bertie Ada Lee Gay; Brothers-Lynn Gay and Orville Gay; Sisters-Christine Lagone and EraLee Stabile.
She is survived by her Husband-Travis DeFoor, Sr.; Daughters-Janet Henry and Judy Garrett (Charles); Son-Travis DeFoor, Jr. (Debra); Sister-Elene Lott; Brothers-Melvin Thomas Gay and Doyal Gay; Grandchildren-Shelly Nickles (Jason), Michael Butler, Jamie Sessions (John Henry), Wesley Findley (Miranda), Justin Henry (Jessica Marie); Great Grandchildren-Brianna Butler, Kristian Sessions, Dalton Nickles, John Travis Sessions, Coleman Nickles, Emma Grace Findley and Ava Marie Henry.
