Jeanne Kay Brewer, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 13, 2017, in Ashland City, Tennessee. Jeanne Kay and her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Brewer, were former residents of Florence, Alabama before making their home in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Jeanne Kay was born in Detroit, Michigan on Sept. 25, 1953, to Robert Earl Grigsby and Bobbie Sue Wallace Grigsby. She attended First Baptist Church of Ashland City. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Preceding her in death were her father, Robert Earl Grigsby, and her sister, Donna Stooksberry.
She is survived by her loving family: husband, Kenneth L. Brewer; two daughters, Molly Lemmonds (Kyle) and Kensey Brewer; brother, Roger Grigsby; sister, Lisa Adcock (Joe); and two grandchildren, Madison and Kamden Lemmonds.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Ernie Emmons officiating. Burial will follow in Neptune Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on today from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Thursday, March 16, from 10 a.m. until service hour of 1 p.m.
