Eugene Bates, 37, died Thursday, March 9, 2017. Public viewing will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Mt. New Home Missionary Baptist Church, Leighton, with burial in Cave Springs Cemetery, Tuscumbia. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
