Richard Dee Wakefield age 85 of Muscle Shoals, died Monday, March 6, 2017.
His family will receive friends Friday, 1-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His military funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wakefield was a native of Haleyville, AL and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his wife Leola Wakefield.
He is survived by his sons, Col. Richard D. Wakefield Jr. and wife Sally, Phillip Wakefield and four grandchildren.
