Mrs. Annie Parker Scruggs age 93 of Courtland, Al. passed away Saturday March 4,2017 at Summerford nursing home. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11am March 8, 2017 at Courtland Baptist Church with Rev Scotty Letson officiating and burial in Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends One hour prior to services.
Mrs Scruggs was born July 1, 1923 in Wheeler, Al. to W.N. Parker and Maude Terry Parker.
Mrs Scruggs is survived by one daughter Rebecca Tucker (Bill) of Hartselle, Al. one granddaughter Suzanne Little of Hartselle, Al. One great granddaughter Shelby Little of Hartselle, Al. One Brother Virgil Parker of Lawrence County, Al. ,Several Nieces and Nephews two special nieces Sandra Oliver and Barbara Bowling . She is preceded in death by her husband Ezbon Scruggs and parents and Eleven Brothers and Sisters. Pallbearers will be Joey Parker, Gerry Parker, Don Bowling, Donald Wayne Reding, Dan Simmons, Oscar Kirby, One Honorary Pallbearer Ambrey Reding.
Mrs Scruggs was a member of Courtland Baptist church for 50 years.
